Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, governor of Enugu, has appointed White Money, the 2021 BBNaija winner, as the state’s ambassador for creative arts.

The governor received the reality TV star at the government house on Friday — about two months after he won this year’s edition of the show.

Speaking at the event, Ugwuanyi described White Money, born Hazel Onoduenyi, as a “worthy son of Enugu state.”

He also said White Money’s  “humility, godliness and consistency” are in line with what he described as the “Enugu spirit.”

According to the governor, such qualities endeared him to his fellow housemates and the viewing public.

He also enjoined other youths in the state to explore their creative potentials and bring honour to the state.

“I call on the teeming Enugu youths to deploy their creative talents and skills to win more laurels for the state,” he said.

“We are very proud of you (White Money) and wish you many more successes,” he added.

In his response, White Money appreciated God and thanked the governor for the honour as well as warm reception.

He also thanked the people of Enugu state and promised to serve the state with all his heart.

“I have never changed, I am still cooking; the level has changed but I have not changed; I am still the same person,” he said.

“Thank you so much Your Excellency, daddy, I am grateful and I promise to serve this state with all my heart.”
