BBNaija’s Tega: I discovered my husband was cheating in a trance

Tega Dominic, the ex-BBNaija housemate, has narrated how she discovered that Ajebo Lawrence, her husband, was allegedly cheating on her. 

The mother of one spoke in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo wherein she reflected on her stint on the show, marriage, and dealing with criticisms.

Tega said she first got to know that her husband cheated through a trance before confirming it from her neighbours.

The reality TV star disclosed that when she got wind of it in a trance, she called her sister to get more details but she denied having knowledge about it.

Tega said after conducting further probe from “guys in my street”, she found out that her husband brought another woman to their matrimonial home.

“Well, I got to know that he cheated and took someone home. I am deep – spiritually. How I got to know was that one day, I was in class and it was something like a trance. I saw him driving, and a babe was in front,” she said.

“And I’m like, ‘What’s this? What’s going on?’ I saw it like twice. So, I called my sister and I asked her what was going on and she denied it. I said, ‘Okay no problem.’

“I relate with the guys in my street a lot. So, I called one of them and I also did some FBI stuff. And then, he came up with ‘Okay, he’s always bringing this babe to the house.”

Tega said the experience was the “height of disrespect” she got from her husband, adding that it left her unsettled.

The entrepreneur also said when the pair eventually tried to talk it over, AJ appeared defensive, alleging that her actions in Lagos made him also indulge in such behaviour.

“My sister was at home, my kid was at home, your brother was at home, and you brought this girl to the house. That was the height of disrespect for me. It was not like I didn’t know he was doing stuff outside. But then, bringing this girl home was just it for me,” she added.

“Then we talked about it and he was so defensive. What really broke me was that he said, ‘You went to Lagos to be with a man, that’s why I did all of this.’

“When Big Brother came, I was like, ‘Okay, this is going to fly’. And then my mum spoke to me that I should not do it but I spoke to him and told him, this is what I wanted to do.”

AJ had earlier confessed that he indeed cheated on Tega while he also disclosed that his action took a huge toll on the family.

Tega has continued to be at the receiving end of heated criticism on social media due to her intimate relationship with Boma during their time on the show.

She had recently deleted her Instagram page, citing online bullying.
