BBNaija’s Nini: I can date a broke man with prospects

Nini, a housemate of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season 6, says she doesn’t mind dating a financially incapacitated man who has bright prospects.

The 26-year-old model gave her opinion on relationships while speaking with other housemates at Biggie’s garden on Monday.

The fashion entrepreneur also said she had once left a relationship with a very rich guy to date someone she believed had prospects for greatness.

“If there is no prospect for me I will get tired, if you say something they are going to relate it to the fact that they don’t have money,” she said.

“So sometimes you have got to swallow some things because you don’t want them to think it’s because of you they don’t have money, that’s why you’re acting this way.

“But me, I can date you even if you don’t have money but if you have prospects and I see what you’re doing, and I respect your hustle, and I think with your hustle we can work together, I can date you.

“For me, I don’t put money first, if it’s about money, you can always get it.”

On his part, Saga, the 28-year-old engineer, said he believes he’s a broke guy with great potentials, to which Arin, the 29-year-old art curator, objected, noting that it would be tough for a rich lady to cope with a broke guy with just prospect.

“This is my point to you, it will get tough, it will get too much, and no matter how confident you think you are or I think you have potential, it will infiltrate your psychic, because if the lady doesn’t make her lifestyle to march yours, you will probably think you’re not good enough,” she said.
