Rumours earlier swirled that the reality star once had an affair with a cleric simply identified as “Apostle”.

On Monday, a Twitter handle, believed to be that of Selman, had offered prayers for people as they begin the week.

“May you experience mind blowing miracles this new week…,” the tweet reads.

Reacting to the tweet, Chike asked the cleric if he was the one she is accused of having an affair with.

“I’m sorry man of God but are you the one they allegedly claim I had something with? No offence but myself and my partner just laughed out loud!” the now-deleted tweet reads.

Her tweet elicited reactions, with many users calling her out on the platform.

In a follow-up post on Tuesday, the 30-year-old apologised to the cleric for her question.

“I stand corrected. My apologies to Apostle for getting names mixed up/wrong. Find it in your good heart to forgive my innocent tweet. Remain blessed,” she wrote.

Chike has been in the public eye since her stint on BBNaija 2021.

In July 2022, she was in the news after she described marriage as a scam.

The brand influencer also made the headlines over allegations that she sabotaged the marriage of Kelvin Anene, a one-time in-law of Cubana Chief Priest, the socialite.
