BBNaija’s Frodd reveals how he met his wife

Frodd, the BBNaija All-Stars housemate, has revealed how he met Chioma, his wife.

Speaking with Cross, a fellow housemate, on Monday, Frodd said he had been seeing her on her brother’s status when they were still in school.

The reality star also said he thereafter took permission from her brother — who happens to be his friend — before approaching her.

Frood added that he and his wife were friends for a year before they started dating.

“I had been seeing her on her brother’s status when we were still in school. One day her brother wished her happy birthday on his status, I just went to his DM and said ‘How far, Ikenne, I want to talk to your sister, I like her and I want to get married’ and he was like I should try,” he said.

“I told her that I took permission from her brother and that was how the conversation started. She was already in a relationship, so for a year we were just friends. That year, I was trying, but nothing happened.

“One day, she asked for an agent’s number, I sent my agent to her and they got a house. I went to see it and from there we started talking.”

Frodd proposed to Chioma in December last year and the pair tied the knot in February 2023.

The couple recently announced that they are expecting their first child together.

Born Chukwuemeke Okoye, Frodd was the second runner-up during the 2019 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Pepper Dem’ edition, which Mercy won.
