Angel Smith, the former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, has fired back at critics who speculated that her recent weight loss was due to the use of an Ozempic drug.
During an Instagram live session on Saturday, Angel showcased her noticeably slimmer figure, attributing her transformation to consistent gym workouts and quitting alcohol.
However, her weight loss has sparked mixed reactions on social media.
While some users praised her dedication to fitness, critics speculated that her weight loss might be due to the use of Ozempic, an anti-diabetic medication for weight management.

Reacting to the speculations, Angel took to X to slam her critics, saying they should “give it a rest”.
She maintained that her body transformation is due to hard work and healthy lifestyle choices.
“You weirdo lame ass hoes have been speaking on my body since 2021, give it a rest,” she wrote.
“Someone can not go to the gym and stop drinking alcohol without you all coming on here with your ugly ass lips talking about some Ozempic, shut up and stop speaking on my body.”
