Regina Daniels, Nollywood actress, has been paired with Alex Asogwa, former housemate of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), in the sequel for ‘Merry Men’, a 2018 comedy thriller.
The two ladies appear to be out for revenge in the AY Mayun inspired movie, which hits cinemas on December 20.
The 20-year-old film star took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to disclose that the ladies are about to show the guys how it’s done!
“There is no force as powerful as a woman that wants revenge. In #Merrymen2 the ladies are about to show the guys how it’s done! Guess who gets the paycheck for a perfect payback?,” the two ladies wrote on Instagram.
‘Merry Men’ follows the story of four bachelors — Remi Martins (Falz the Bad Guy), Amaju Abioritsegbemi (Ayo Makun), Ayo Alesinloye (Ramsey Nouah) and Naz Okigbo (Jim Iyke) — who make it their mission to steal from Nigeria’s corrupt elite and give back to the poor.
The group, dubbed ‘The Yoruba Demons’, bed powerful women, get contracts from political elites, swindle rich and have sex with their beautiful women in Abuja — with Damilola Adegbite, an auxiliary member of the ‘Merry Men’ working for the EFCC.
For the sequel, AY, Falz, Ramsey Nouah, and Jim Iyke would be returning as the ‘Merry Men’ while they are also joined by the Williams Uchemba, the fifth Merry Man.
AY Makun, the movie producer, recently joined forces with Nouah for yet another thrilling movie entitled ‘The Millions,‘ which sees the stand-up comedian engage with a group of con artists in a bid to stage $42 million heist.
