The pair have been in the news for some days now after videos of their intimate moments surfaced online.

Conversations about the duo’s relationship heightened on Sunday night after they appeared to be having sex in a viral video.

This had left tongues wagging on social media with a segment of users criticising the reality stars for “having sex on national Tv.

In a tweet on Monday, Pere took a jab at critics of the housemates, asking them to stop acting “self-righteous”.

“Nigerians stop criticising Daniella and Khalid! Self-righteousness! Just stop it, let them be. You ain’t better than them,” he wrote.

Last week, Daniella said if her parents asked about her intimate moments with Khalid after the show, she would simply “lock up”.

While trying to placate Daniella, Khalid said her parents will understand that “she has started doing what women do.”

The winner of this year’s edition, titled ‘Level Up’, will go home with a grand prize of 100 million — the highest ever since the inception of BBNaija.

N50 million is the cash prize while the other N50 million is an estimation of prizes from the sponsors.
