Eloswag, the current head of house (HoH) in the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season 7, has sparked a wave of reactions on social media for wearing a hoodie with the inscription ‘be obedient and useful.’
Eloswag, whose real name is Eloka Nwamu, began to trend on Thursday after a photo showing his backside with the inscription surfaced on Twitter.
A huge number of Twitter users were of the opinion that the reality star was endorsing Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, ahead of the 2023 elections.
The inscription was said to have been coined from the ‘Obidient and Yusful’ slogan which followers of Obi and Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, his running mate, have been using to drive his campaign on Twitter.
Another segment of users also called for the housemate to be disqualified from the BBNaija show for “bringing politics into the house.”
This was just as some of Obi’s supporters vowed to ensure Eloswag win the reality show by massively voting for him.
