Team Nelita (Nelly and Anita), the BBNaija season nine housemates, has become the heads of house (HoH) for the second week in a row.
Nelita is a pair of friends named Nelly Mbonu and Anita Ukah.
Following the scrap of the HoH ballot, Big Brother pitted the housemates in two-phased challenge to determine the heads of house for the week.
In the first challenge, members of the pairs were instructed to use a couple of balls to knock off three balls arranged on a flat surface from a distance.
The Mbadiwe Twins, Chekas, Nelita and Double Kay qualified for the final round with the fastest times.
Nelita, however, won the challenge after finishing the second task faster than the rest of the housemates.
Based on the new adjustments by Biggie, the pair has gained immunity and is safe from possible eviction for the week.
The duo also won the HoH ballot the previous week, making them the first housemates to win the title back-to-back.
This year’s BBNaija premiered on July 28 with the unveiling of 28 housemates paired up in a team of 14.
The show will run for 71 days and end on October 6. The winner of the 2024 season will go home with the grand prize of N100 million.
