The pair Ndi Nne has become the first custodians of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show season nine edition.
On Sunday night, the duo won the first custodian challenge involving 14 pairs of 28 newly introduced housemates.
During the challenge, the housemates were asked to pick a representative from each of the pairs. The 14 representatives were then instructed to pick up plastic bottles hidden inside a pool of water.
Nneamaka, who represented the Ndi Nne duo, picked the correct bottle with the custodian badge.
With the win, the pair is automatically exempted from possible eviction in the first week of the ‘No Loose Guard’ edition.
The Ndi Nne pair has also been empowered to influence nominations for possible eviction in the first week as well.
The duo was decorated with the custodian badge and given the custodian box, while they await further instruction from Biggie.
The BBNaija show will run for 71 days and is expected to end on October 6. The winner of the 2024 season will go home with a cash prize of N100 million.
Last year’s edition featured 20 former housemates from the show’s inception in 2006 through its seventh edition in 2022.
The 2023 season ended on October 1, with Ilebaye Odiniya winning the grand prize.
