BBNaija: I’m still open to relationship with Chichi, says Deji

Ayodeji ‘Deji’ Morafa, the recently evicted BBNaija season seven housemate, says he’s still open to a relationship with Chichi outside the house.

The pharmacist was sent packing from the show last Sunday alongside Diana and Giddyfia.

In a post-show interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Deji detailed how his relationship with Chichi started and what attracted him to her.

“Getting into the house, obviously she is good looking but I wasn’t interested in the physical aspect. I’ve been through a lot with girls so I was more interested in what is inside. Like I knew she liked me from the first week because her friend told me but I didn’t want to force it,” he said.

“But then when we got to the third week, I had a chat with her and discovered that her being loud and wanting to get into arguments was a self-defense mechanism.

“She had gone through a lot in her past and then people take advantage of her. We had a very intense chat and I realized that she was someone I would like to know and we then started getting close.

“The more I was spending time with her, the more I felt like I wanted to see what was in there. At the same time, I wasn’t sure if it was something that would last long outside of the show and we even had a chat about it.

“I was like I’m comfortable being with you in the house right now, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves or get too carried away. Let’s see how it’s going to be outside of the show, we would do so many things together maybe sleepovers and if she still wants it, sure I’m open to it.”
