Team Flourish, the recently evicted BBNaija season nine pair known as DJ Flo and Rhuthee, has expressed their displeasure with the custodian challenge.

The friends were evicted last Sunday alongside Team Streeze (Toby Forge and Mayor Frosh).

In an interview with selected journalists, Rhuthie also spoke about her constant verbal brawls with the twins — Team Wanni x Handi.

The 31-year-old emphasized they were never friends but tolerated each other inside Biggie’s house.

Rhuthee added that they are willing to have conversations and potentially be cordial with Wanni x Handi, depending on the reaction after talking things out.

“There is this thing I used to say that there is room for communication, we are adults. If there is room for communication, of course, we will talk things out but the reaction after the conversation will determine if we will be cordial,” she said.

“We were not friends in the first place but we knew we would have to tolerate each other. We do not have grudges but when you are poked, you do not expect to tell the person how to react. If that ever happens we are open to having a conversation, and if apologies are to be made to each other, why not?”.

The reality stars also shared their thoughts on the custodian challenge twist introduced by Biggie, which they felt gave too much power to housemates.

This, according to DJ Flo, led to a cautious atmosphere, with housemates “walking on eggshells” to avoid conflicts.

“This one, I think what he (Biggie) did was give so much power to people in the house, and as a result of that people began to walk on eggshells and be careful around each other so that you do not get in anyone’s black book,” she said.

“I feel like we could not regret it because we could never be sure how it could have gone, it could have gone anyway.”

Rhuthee added that she felt the custodian challenge should have come with a different twist.

“I know how Biggie can be because it is Biggie’s house but the custodian challenge was a little bit off. I felt like if Biggie would come up with a twist like evict the closest person to you, that would have been something different,” she said.

During last Sunday’s eviction show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the host, revealed that Biggie has abolished the custodian challenge.
