The fourth season of Big Brother Naija kicked off on Sunday with the unveiling of 21 housemates in an opening ceremony which featured performances from prominent music artistes.

The 2019 edition is themed ‘Pepper Dem’.

Here are the housemates expected to entertain fans of the reality tv show while engaging themselves in a fierce tussle for the grand prize of N60 million over a space of 99 days.

Saidat ‘Avala’ Balogun: Avala is a 30-years-old budding singer and single mother who hails from Ogun state. She studied music and business at York College in Queens, New York.

Omashola Kolaoburo: Omashola is a 38-year-old model and entrepreneur from Delta state. According to him, he’s been single and focused on building his brand with ever since his girlfriend broke up with him at the airport before his return flight to Nigeria.

Khafi Kareem: Khafi, 29, is a London-based policewoman who hails from Ekiti state. Khafi is convinced she might be the type to annoy much of her colleague housemates as the show progresses.

Chemeka ‘Frodd’ Okoye: Frodd, 28, hails from Anambra state. He is an investment adviser and sales executive. According to him, he’ll never give up the show even if he’s offered huge sums because the experience can never be bought.

Steve Ikechukwu Onyema: Ike is a 26-year-old who hails from Imo state. Ike is looking to become a successful business owner and promises to give Nigerians the drama. According to him, he’s up for the money and the entertainment and not the fame.

Victoria ‘Ella’ Nnabuchi: Ella, 30, hails from Anambra state. She’s a TV presenter, voice-over artist, actress, and model.

Nelson Allison: Nelson is a 26-year-old consultant and model who hails from Rivers state.

Kim Oprah: Kim Oprah, 23, is a TV presenter and entrepreneur. She represented Nigeria at Miss Intercontinental World Beauty Pageant. Acclaiming her manipulative personality, Oprah says she looks forward to lots of drama as the show unfolds.

Isilomo Braimoh: Isilomo, 27, is an HR manager who hails from Edo state.

Jackye: Jackye, 23, is a software engineer who hails from Anambra state. She’s a tech-oriented individual who is confident she’ll never lose.

Tuoyo: Tuoyo, who hails from Delta state, is a psychotherapist, fitness coach and part-time stripper. He hopes to use BBNaija’s prize money to establish a therapy institution where depressed Nigerians can surmount their problems.

Atteh Daniel Tioluwa: Sir Dee, 27, hails from Kogi. “The fact that I will be disconnected from everyone I know will have to form new relationships in an enclosed environment, is very exciting to me,” he says.

Oluwaseyi Awolowo: Seyi is a 30-year-old entrepreneur from Ogun state and the grandson of Obafemi Awolowo. He had reportedly attempted suicide but rose above his dark teenage days.

Esther Olaoluwa Agunbiade: Esther, 22, is from Lagos state, she is a lawyer who was called to bar at 21, yet, looks to be an established actress in the next five years.

Thelma Ibemere: Thelma, 26, is hair and beauty entrepreneur. Thelma is convinced she’s destined to be in the show not for the money but the fame that comes with it.

Ekpata Gedoni: Gedoni is 31 and single. Asides being a fashion entrepreneur, he spends his spare time playing basketball or writing.

Diane Yashim: Diane, 23, hails from Kaduna state. As a graduate of the University of Debrecen in Hungary, Diane looks to carve out a career for herself as an actor or TV presenter with the prize money that accrues from the show.

Mercy Eke: Mercy is a 26-year-old who describes herself as single but not available. She is a Lagos-based video vixen and businesswoman who loves cooking, swimming, travelling and dancing.

Tacha: She is 23. Tacha says she lives by the rule which says “do no harm but take no mess”. Tacha says she looks to spice up the show with her fiery personality and invest in new business ideas with the prize money that would accrue to her.

Jeff: Jeff is a 30-year-old who hails from Anambra state. Although he is single and comes with no strategy, he’s convinced that a grasp at the prize money would help him further establish his start-up business.

Mike Edwards: Mike, 28, is a married UK-based businessman, professional athlete, and CEO who hails from Lagos state. Like some of his colleagues, Mike is up for the challenge that comes with the show and looks to grow his business with the perks that accrue therefrom.
