Speaking at an event tagged ‘The Convergence: Power, Capacity, Politics’, the entertainer who is professionally known as Banky W said his compulsive yearn to contribute to fixing Nigeria is his major motivation.
The event, an initiative of Youth Initiative for Advocacy, Growth and Advancement (YIAGA Africa) and the Not Too Young To Run movement, was attended by young candidates of different political parties.
Banky W talked about how he started out selling CDs from his car’s boot and building Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), one of the biggest record labels in the country.
The nascent politician, who is running on the Modern Democratic Party (MDP) platform, said he believes he can make a difference and an impact in the lives of Nigerians.
