Born Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, Starr became a viral sensation after releasing her hit track ‘Bloody Samaritan’ in 2021.
Under the music producer Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records, the songstress has gained popularity in the industry.
Starr was among the Nigerian music stars nominated for this year’s Grammy Awards.
She was nominated in the maiden ‘Best African Music Performance’ category for her hit song ‘Rush’.
The music star, however, lost to Tyla, the South African singer.
In May, she released her second studio album titled, ‘The Year I Turned 21’. The album follows the success of her 2021 debut project, ‘19 & Dangerous’.
With numerous awards and accolades, Starr has become one of the continent’s fastest-rising artistes.
