Award-winning musical, Fela!, coming to Lagos

Fela!, the Tony-winning musical about the life of Nigerian Afrobeat progenitor, Fela Anikulapo- Kuti, will be showing in Lagos in April.

The musical has enjoyed tremendous success since debuting on Broadway a few years ago.

Asides winning multiple awards, theatre lovers from across the world have gone to watch the play.

In celebration of the legend of Fela, Smooth FM is set to bring to Nigerians three nights of dance and music and a concert.

The trifecta will hold at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos from April 13-15.

“It will feature series of Fela’s most captivating songs and imaginative staging hereby presenting a provocative hybrid of concert, dance and musical theatre,” said the organisers.
