Aretha Franklin, the immensely talented queen of soul, in 2015 made former US president Barack Obama teary-eyed.
Franklin, who died on Thursday, got Obama emotional with her powerful rendition of ‘Natural Woman’.
The then US president and his wife Michelle sat in a crowded theater during the Kennedy Centre Honours to watch the now late Franklin perform.
The music icon died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 76.
