Mavin Records, the Nigerian music label owned by Don Jazzy, has announced job openings for interested candidates.
The job application was announced via the label’s X page on Wednesday.
“We are now hiring! Seize this opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the innovative landscape of the music industry,” the label wrote.
Mavin Records said it is looking for experienced candidates to fill the positions of head of content marketing, A & R manager, and senior accountant.
Other vacant roles include cinematographer, video editor and artiste business manager.
Applicants in the various roles are required to be residents of Lagos state.
The candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of two to four years of working experience in their choice roles.
Other requirements include “an impressive understanding of the media and entertainment space in Nigeria and beyond”.
According to the application, Mavin Records “loves working async and this means you get to do your schedule.
“We empower ownership and proactivity and when in doubt default to action/asking instead of waiting.”
Don Jazzy established Mavin Records in 2012.
Artistes under the label include Ayra Starr, Johnny Drille, Crayon, Rema, and Ladipoe.
The label has received numerous accolades, including the MTV Africa Music Award for Best Record Label in 2013 and 2014.
Mavin Records’ artistes have also collaborated with global singers such as Beyoncé, Selena Gomez, Kelly Rowland, and Chris Brown.
Don Jazzy had earlier addressed rumours surrounding the potential sale of the music label.
