But is this change going to discourage potential iPhone 7 buyers who have been waiting anxiously for the upgrade?

From recent leaks of iPhone 7 which is expected in September, it appears Apple has decided to take away the headphone jack — leaving only the charging port and speaker holes at the bottom of the phone.

We are not sure of the consequences of this bold move and how it will affect an average iPhone user and Apple sales.

Although this makes for a sleeker, more aesthetic iPhone, it may be a difficult adjustment for many.

According to Nowhereelse.fr which has obtained schematics of the iPhone 7, the second matching speaker grill is solely cosmetic and only houses the microphone.

A lot of surprises are in store for us… Like Apple devices weren’t exclusive enough already!
