The event, scheduled for November 26 at the Grand Ballroom of Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, is designed to “recognise, appreciate, and reward hard work and excellence within the creative industries in Nigeria, Africa, and beyond”.

Speaking about the anniversary, Collins Enebeli, AMAN’s president, said the association sees the 30-year milestone as “something worth celebrating in grand style”.

He also hinted at special surprises for guests and an expanded award list approved by the board.

“An association that has lasted through three decades in Nigeria is not a baby. This is why the association is rolling out the drums to celebrate its 30th anniversary of existence in grand style,” he said.

“We have surprises for our guests, including a longer award list made possible by the board of Governors for the AMAN Awards. We can’t afford to keep quiet about this milestone.”

In a statement released, the association said as part of the celebration, it has also shortlisted a group of credible and influential Nigerians for the prestigious AMAN Awards, which will serve as one of the key highlights of the evening.

AMAN said it has played a key role in bridging the gap between emerging talents and established artistes, while promoting healthy relationships between managers and their clients.

The association added that its networking tours and industry engagements have helped members gain practical exposure and connect directly with leading figures in the creative sector.

“The exposure provided to registered members gives them beneficial insights into the inner workings of the creative industry,” the statement reads.

“Part of AMAN’s objectives was to set up a reward system through which talents are publicly recognised and rewarded for excellence. The award is designed to recognise, appreciate, and reward hard work and excellence within the creative industries in Nigeria, Africa and beyond.”
