Atunyota Akpobome, ace stand-up comedian better known as Ali Baba, and Mary Akpobome, his wife, have taken to social media to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary.
The duo took to their individual Instagram pages on Thursday to mark the occasion.
In his post, the entertainer seemed to indicate that the couple have been together for 25 years but got married 10 years into their relationship.
“15 years of 25 years… that is how @mary.akpobome reminded me of today. Anniversary to us,” he wrote.
On her part, Mary, a business executive, shared a couple of pictures of herself and the comedian in a lovey-dovey moment, while also appreciating God for sustaining their marriage.
“Happy wedding anniversary. To God be the story,” she wrote.
The couple tied the knot in 2006 and since then their union has been blessed with five children namely: Ejiro, Tejiri, Valerie as well as Xsara and Brenda, their twin boys.
Born on June 24, 1965, Ali Baba has etched his name on the minds of many of his fans for his creativity and unique comic style.
In January 2021, the award-winning entertainer had narrated his experience while at the Yaba COVID-19 isolation centre in Lagos after contracting the novel disease.
