Adekunle Gold, Nigerian singer, has explained why he ventured into the business landscape with the launch of Shades, his paint company.
In a statement to TheCable Lifestyle, the music star said the company was launched as a result of his love for colours and interior design.
Gold said he had been nursing the idea of flouting a paint manufacturing company about three years ago but did not take the initiative seriously until recently.
Citing himself as an instance, the musician said people should always strive to translate their ideas into reality if they want to live their dream life.
“I started toying with the idea of manufacturing paints 3 years ago. I am really passionate about Interior design so I did a lot of studying about paint formulation,” he said.
The singer had earlier taken to his Instagram page to announce the launch of the company to his numerous fans.
“Today is a great day. Great, because finally, I get to share something I’ve been working on for years with you. Shades, The Paint Company – Adekunle Kosoko’s Premium Acrylic paint company to serve all people and all energies,” he wrote.
“My inspiration was you. Is you. I wanted to give you a way to express yourself through colours. To have you walk in the room with walls speaking our language and letting you feel exactly how you choose.”
