Adeboye, wife celebrate 54th wedding anniversary

Enoch Adeboye, general overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), and Foluke, his wife, have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary.

Leke Adeboye, their last child, took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to celebrate his parents on the occasion in a terse post.

“Happy wedding anniversary. 54years wow! May God keep you show us it’s possible,” he wrote alongside a photo of the couple.

Friends and well-wishers also took to the comment section of the post to celebrate the lovebirds while they also prayed for them.

Adeboye tied the knot with Foluke in 1967. The union was blessed with four children but the couple lost one of them  — Dare  — in May this year.

The pair have been in the spotlight on numerous occasions for their beautiful love story and public display of affection.

In June last year, Adeboye had said he could “kill anyone who messes with his wife.

“I am sure you have heard me say it before. You can do whatever you like to me, you can criticize me, you can insult me, you can trample on me, I will only pray for you,” he had said.

“But if you mess around with my wife, I will kill you. I will kill you so thoroughly you won’t even be able to rise on the resurrection morning.”
