Ade Laoye, Kehinde Bankole, Munachi Abii and Omowunmi Dada have been unveiled as leading female cast for Nollywood’s adaptation of ‘Finding Hubby’, a story by Tunde Leye.

This was announced in a short video posted on its official YouTube page on Thursday.

Laoye will play the role of Oyin Clegg, the movie’s main character, while Bankole and Abii will feature as Toke and Gloria, the leading cast’s friends.

Dada, on the other hand, will act as the main character’s arch-rival in the film.

The rest of the cast is expected to be revealed in the coming days.

Commenting on the movie’s cast,  Zainab Baruwa-Abiola, the film’s executive producer, said the selection was carefully done to ensure the project lives up to expectations.

“We took special care to cast actors who embody the characters and personalities of the ladies featured in the story. With this cast, we believe movie-goers and fans will connect with the story even more,” she said.

Also speaking, Femi Ogunsanwo, the film’s producer and director, said: “Ade Laoye is Oyin Clegg in flesh and she totally embodied the character every day we were on set. I’m sure the fans of the series will agree with us when they watch the film that Ade is the Oyin Clegg they signed up for.”

The movie, which is the remake of the 2012 fan-favorite, is billed to hit the cinemas in November.
