Georgina Ibeh, the Nollywood actress, has welcomed her first child.
The film star took to her Instagram page to share photos from her maternity shoot while announcing the arrival of the baby whom she described as her “mini me”.
She also expressed gratitude to God for the “abundance” that 2025 has brought to her.
“Life lately. Thank you, Jesus, for 2025 came with abundance,” she wrote.
“I am now a mother. A mini me. Congratulations are in order.”
The actress, however, did not disclose the exact date of birth and name of the baby. The identity of the baby’s father also remains unknown.
Fans and colleagues have taken to the comment section to congratulate the actress on the arrival of her child.
In 2023, Ibeh had expressed her desire to embrace marriage and motherhood with someone who understands her passion for acting.
“My mum and dad were married and the marriage lasted long before I lost my dad in 2020 . I believe so much in marriage and having kids,” she said.
“In as much as I wouldn’t want to have children out of wedlock, marriage is something I would embrace in the long run.
“Although I’m not in a relationship at the moment, but I want to meet someone who understands that I love my acting career.”
Ibeh began her acting career professionally after graduating from the university.
Since then, she has featured in several films and TV series including ‘The Patriot’, ‘Super Story’, ‘This Life’, and ‘Scarlet Chance’. She is also a producer and runs her own production company, Films Production.
