Olaiya Igwe, the controversial actor, has bagged an endorsement deal with an investment firm.
The actor announced the deal via his Instagram page on Saturday.
In the post, he shared a video of himself signing a contract with a firm named Goldmender Global Investment Ltd
“So glad to announce my ambassadorship contract with Goldmender Global Investment LTD,” he wrote.
“Many greater things and achievements to reveal to you all soon. Much love.
Olaiya Igwe announced the deal a few hours after he pulled a political campaign stunt that saw him go nude.
The actor went stark naked to campaign for Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
In the stunt, he is seen on a beach praying for the APC candidate to be the next president of Nigeria.
The actor has, however, faced a heated backlash since the video surfaced on social media.
Olaiya Igwe, in April 2022, made the headlines after he threw himself to the ground in prostration to thank MC Oluomo, a transport businessman and politician, for a car gift.
Upon receiving the car keys, Olaiya ran after Oluomo and rolled on the floor in a gesture of gratitude.
The Yoruba actor ventured into acting in the 1900s. He has since been featured in several movies.
