“He’s seriously sick with kidney failure and in need of financial aid from ME and YOU. No amount is too small even if it’s #100,” both had written on their respective Instagram pages on Saturday.

The social media campaign embarked upon by the duo to save Adesanya’s life was a little too late, it appears.

Popularly known as Pastor Ajidara, the late actor is prominent for his roles in Yoruba movies.

Adesanya is famous for his role in ‘Abela Pupa’.

Actor Prince James Uche died in March after battling diabetes and kidney disease for several years.

Television presenter, Emma Ugolee, is also fighting the disease and trying to raise funds for surgery abroad while Leo Mezie has made a full recovery after receiving donations from Nigerians.
