Juma Jux, the Tanzanian singer, delivered a captivating performance on Thursday night, headlining the Detty December Fest in Lagos to an enthusiastic crowd.

Held at the Ilubirin venue in Ikoyi, the concert drew a large audience of music lovers eager for a night of high-energy entertainment.

Jux, celebrated for his smooth vocals and Afropop style, had the crowd singing along to a repertoire of his hits. Fan favorites like ‘God Design’, ‘Ololufe Mi’, ‘Enjoy’, ‘Si Mimi’, and ‘My Shayla’ echoed throughout the venue.

The night featured a robust lineup of supporting acts. Nigerian stars Phyno, Qing Madi, Broda Shaggi, and hype man Dotun delivered dynamic sets, while fast-rising artistes Kashope, Zeez, and Mo’Believe also took the stage.

One standout moment came when Jux brought his wife Priscilla Ojo on stage. Another was the breathtaking display by the international Aerobatic Drummers.

Jux’s performance is just one part of the expansive Detty December Fest, which is scheduled to run until December 31, 2025, across two Lagos locations: Ilubirin in Ikoyi and The Livespot Entertarium in Lekki.

The festival continues to boast a stellar lineup. Following Jux, American rap legend Busta Rhymes is set to headline on December 19.

Recently, it was also announced that acclaimed American rapper and singer Gunna will join as a headliner, taking center stage on December 29.
