Habeeb Hamzat, the popular Nigerian TikToker better known as Peller, has alleged  that some financially unstable celebrities secretly beg him for money.

During a recent live streaming session, the content creator argued that a large social media following does not always translate to financial security.

While Peller did not disclose the identities of the celebrities, he claimed that whenever he hosts cash giveaways online, they slide into his direct messages to ask for a share.

“The way God did my life, I love it. It is not everyone that is posting or have followers that have money in the bank or something to eat. If I am doing giveaway on Instagram or some other platforms, do you believe that some celebrities text me asking for money?” he asked.

“I am usually surprised about it. I will be doing giveaway for fans, you as a celebrity would still want to collect out of it. Are you crazy? I saw your messages but I intentionally did not reply.”

The revelation comes amid a highly publicised feud with his girlfriend and fellow TikToker Jarvis.

Last week, Peller accused her of being involved in a form of “money laundering” through her TikTok livestreams — an allegation Jarvis has firmly denied while threatening legal action.
