Falz, the Nigerian rapper and actor, has released his vibrant new single ‘Bounce’.
The track officially hit all major streaming platforms in the early hours of Friday.
True to his signature style, Falz blends confident braggadocio with clever wordplay and a touch of humor in ‘Bounce’.
The song is a lively anthem centered on boasting about a lavish lifestyle, commanding attention, taking over the dance floor.
“Lege lege now/ Bounce body/ Eskelebe/ Gum body (how are you)/ Move it to the right/ Dance for me (aha)/ Gbesunmomi now/ Jump on it/ All the comma/ We dey squander/ Mo jaiye/ Mo de shey ni wonba/ O de weigh/ O de pemi ni lover/ A lolox a de kiss each other/ Mwah,” he sings.
Born Folarin Falana, Falz has established himself as a household name in the Nigerian music since his career began in 2009.
He is known for songs which are often targeted at addressing bad governance and societal ills including ‘Child of the World’ and ‘Talk’.
His discography includes ‘Wazum Guy’ (2014), ‘Stories that Touch’ (2015), ’27’ (2017), ‘Moral Instruction’ (2019) and ‘Bahd’ (2022).
Beyond music, Falz is also a successful actor, having made his film debut in ‘Couple of Days’ (2016).
The singer’s versatility has won him several awards including ‘Album of the Year’ at the 2016 edition of the City People Entertainment.
