Nkechi Blessing, the Nollywood actress, has fired back at colleague Lizzy Anjorin for referencing her late mother.
The conflict began when Anjorin used her Instagram page to criticise Blessing for allegedly aligning with Iyabo Ojo against her.
Anjorin accused Blessing of offending numerous elders and made a deeply personal jab about the circumstances of her mother’s passing.
“Nkechi, you have just started. You do not have money to fix a POP ceiling. You have offended the elders. I am not the only one you offended. Imagine the way your mother died. The worst thing to do is to join up with Iyabo Ojo and be abusing someone that did not offend you,” she said.
Responding, Blessing condemned Anjorin for bringing her deceased mother into the argument and retaliated with harsh words about her character and constant flaunting of wealth.
She denied having abused Anjorin initially, framing the entire dispute as unprovoked.
“You will not prosper. It will not be sweet if I say it in English. I have her time this night. All the money that you have that it takes only one sleep for one not to wake up. Every time you are always bragging about money. Some people have money more than you,” she said.
“All of these things started when you commented on someone’s page. Did I abuse you, Lizzy? You have only material times. It can vanish suddenly.
“I will deal with you if you ever mention my mother again. I do not have anything to say to you other than to warn you and that every curse you are hurting will be on you.
“Nobody rates you on the internet.”
The public clash is an offshoot of the long-standing, intense feud between Anjorin and Ojo, which began in 2023.
Although the two appeared to have reconciled in June 2024, the rivalry has recently resurfaced with heightened intensity, with both parties having threatened each other with lawsuits.
