Nike Adeyemi, wife of Sam Adeyemi, a senior pastor of the Daystar Christian Centre, has equipped women with valuable skills.

Through her Real Woman Foundation, Adeyemi organised a training programme from September 16 to 18, where participants were equipped with skills in makeup artistry, gele tying, pastry making, and hair braiding.

This year’s edition provided each participant with a startup kit in their chosen track, replacing the usual seed funding.

The kits were designed to equip them with essential tools to begin their entrepreneurial journey immediately.

Participants also received food palliatives, while the closing ceremony saw certificates presented, with outstanding women honoured for their punctuality, attentiveness, and commitment.

Facilitators offered scholarships for extended training. The foundation also supported select participants with cash gifts to aid their next steps.

Speaking about the programme, Adeyemi said the foundation’s goal is to help women rebuild their confidence and become agents of change in their communities.

She added that the initiative also supports disadvantaged women and children with skills to improve their lives and families.

“At The Real Woman Foundation, empowerment is not just about training. It is about restoring hope, building resilience, and equipping women to stand tall as change-makers in their communities,” she said.

“This initiative aligns with the foundation’s mission to provide rehabilitation and skill training to economically and socially disadvantaged women and children, empowering them to positively impact their families and society.

“Today, we celebrate the growth, resilience, and bright futures ahead for our participants.
