Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, the Nigerian content creator popularly known as Mandy Kiss, has been appointed as a brand ambassador for the Lagos State Kick Against Drug and Substance Abuse (LASKADA).
The appointment was confirmed in a recent event featuring Mobolaji Abubakre Ogunlende, the Lagos commissioner for youth and social development.
Ogunlende explained that the government is actively seeking collaborations with influencers who have significant reach to bolster the fight against the “pandemic” of drug abuse.
“We’re here with Mandy Kiss, and you know, she’s actually agreed to become one of our LASKADA brand ambassadors, Lagos State Kicks Against Drug Abuse,” Ogunlende said.
“Drugs are a pandemic that is hitting our streets, society and community. The government cannot fight it alone.
“We must work in collaboration with those that can reach as many people as possible, and we know Mandy Kiss has a large followership, 402,000. We’ve had conversations and we’re trying to do things differently.”

Ogunlende acknowledged that “everybody has a past, nobody’s perfect,” and emphasised the state’s focus on the future.
“Everybody has a past, nobody’s perfect, but again, as a brand ambassador to Legal State Kicks Against Drug Abuse, we hope Mandy Kiss will be able to reach the nooks and crannies, you know, of Lagos to assist us in fighting this pandemic,” he added.
“With the powers conferred on me, I make her one of our brand ambassadors. So, say no to drugs. Say what? Say no to drugs.”
In response, Mandy Kiss described the appointment as a “new chapter” and an opportunity to inspire young people.
She expressed gratitude to the Lagos government, framing the role not just as an honour, but as a serious responsibility.
“New chapter unlocked!!! Officially a LASKADA Ambassador! Ready to stand tall in the fight against drug abuse and inspire our youths to choose 1,415 purpose over drugs,” she wrote.
“A drug-free Lagos is possible, and it starts with us! Grateful to the Lagos State Ministry of Youth & Social Development under the Leadership of 232 JGOvernor Sanwo olu for this honorable appointment as an Ambassador of LASKADA.
“This is not just a title-it’s a call to action! Together, 1,146 th let’s raise our voices, spread awareness, and create a future where our youths thrive beyond drug abuse.”
The ambassadorship comes a few days after the content creator stirred controversy with her plan to set a world record by having sex with 100 men in 24 hours.
Guinness World Records, however, distanced itself from the attempt, stating, “This is not a record we monitor”.
Mandy later called off the plan following heavy criticism from several quarters, including Akintunde Akinyemi, the Eselu of Iselu kingdom in Ogun state.
