In March, Aigbe’s phones were stolen during the premiere of a film by colleague Iyabo Ojo.

In December 2024, a fire gutted her Lagos home, resulting in the destruction of valuable possessions.

Aigbe began her acting career with appearances in soap operas, including the popular TV drama series Papa Ajasco.

She fully joined Nollywood in 2006 and gained recognition after starring in ‘Ara,’ a movie produced by Remi Olupo in Ibadan, Oyo state.

Since then, she has featured in several Yoruba and English films, including ‘Thinline,’ ‘Ajosepo,’ ‘Ada Omo Daddy,’ ‘Eri Ife,’ and ‘Afefeyeye’.

Her personal life has also been a focus of public attention.

In January 2022, she unveiled Adeoti as her husband, a revelation that was followed by public accusations from the filmmaker’s first wife Funsho who claimed Aigbe had destroyed her marriage.

In 2023, Aigbe converted from Christianity to Islam, stating that her love for Adeoti had prompted her to reconsider her religious beliefs.
