In a recent interview, the rapper, popularly known as Baddo, clarified that his bond with the trio is cordial, despite their often larger-than-life public personas.

Olamide suggested that the artistes are frequently misjudged, noting that their true characters don’t always align with public perception.

“They are all my friends. They just like making troubles — Wiz, David, Burna. They are cool dudes. Many people will not just align with no many things,” he said.

Olamide particularly highlighted his recent studio collaboration with Wizkid for his latest self-titled album.

According to him, the plan was initially for a single feature on the track ‘Kai’. He said, however, while on set for the video shoot, he played other songs from the album for Wizkid, who immediately connected with ‘Billionaire’s Club’.

The hitmaker described Wizkid as a “solid dude” who shows him “endless love and support”.

“We did not plan it that way. It was just supposed to be ‘Kai’. And while ok set shooting ‘Kai’ I was just playing some songs off my album for Wiz to listen and he heard ‘Billionaire’s Club’ he said ‘you should have given me this. If you had played this first, we would have been shooting it’. I said I did not know he would like it,” he said.

“I just made that record the day before the shoot. And he rocked with it heavy. And he immediately closed Prime and they did their thing. I am grateful to God for Wiz for his endless love and support. That is a solid dude right there.”
