Oluwatosin Mr Eazi Ajibade has sparked a wave of reactions on social media after sharing a nostalgic throwback picture from his secondary school graduation.

The artiste posted a page from a magazine on his X account featuring a photograph of himself and his classmates from Home Science Association Secondary School (HSASS) in Lagos.

The image shows a young Mr Eazi in his school uniform, consisting of a blue shirt, jacket, and a red tie.

Accompanying the picture was a short, optimistic note he wrote as a graduating student, which read: “It’s not over until it is over. See you at the top everyone. Cheers”.

The post attracted attention, with many users praising the singer for his foresight and success.

Ghanaian singer King Promise commented, “SEE YOU AT THE TOP!!! Spoke it into existence,” acknowledging how Mr Eazi had seemingly prophesied his own future success.

Other users highlighted the prestige of his alma mater, with one noting that the singer “was brilliant”.

“Home Science Association Secondary School 💪🏽💪🏽. @mreazi  was a very brilliant student,” the user wrote. 

“Giving up postponed, I’m not giving up. You always motivate me in every aspect. You got a good and beautiful wife. Being one of a successful entrepreneur. I’m really motivated man jeep being you,” another person commented.

However, the post also prompted some humorous and inquisitive responses regarding his classmates.

“Eazi take am easy make your classmates no burst cry,” a user wrote. 

Another X user wrote: “This is really inspiring! Watching you and your classmates grow from humble beginnings to success shows the value of hard work and resilience. Your journey with Banku music going global proves the power of staying true to your roots. Keep shining, and thanks for reminding us that with dedication, dreams do come true!”.

Mr Eazi, who rose to fame with his 2015 single ‘Holl Up,’ is credited as the pioneer of Banku Music.

He has since expanded his ventures, including founding the pan-African music collective Choplife Soundsystem.

His recent multimillion-dollar wedding to Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, across three countries, further cemented his status as a leading figure in both the music and business worlds.
