Celebration Church International (CCI) has launched Propella Schools, its first free primary school in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.
The initiative was officially unveiled on September 15, during a groundbreaking ceremony held at the Celebr8 Centre in Ibadan.
Propella Schools form a key part of CCI’s broader community outreach efforts.
The church leadership also announced plans to expand the initiative to 50 schools across Nigeria, aiming to deliver holistic, high-quality education to underprivileged children at no cost to their families.

The programme will fully cover tuition, stationery, textbooks, workbooks, extracurricular activities, examination fees, clinic services, and information and communication technology (ICT) training.
On the first day of resumption, 62 pupils were enrolled and each received school bags, uniforms, and stationery supplies.
Emmanuel Iren, the lead pastor of CCI, rang the first bell to mark the school’s opening.
The cleric also assured that the education standard at Propella rivals that of private schools.

“Here, progress is not behind a paywall. The only cost is your best effort,” he said.
“One thing we can promise you: there is no student who attends an expensive school that will have better access to education than these ones here.
“We believe that every child deserves a chance to learn and thrive, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Today is about hope, dignity, and opportunity — this school is our practical expression of loving our neighbours and investing in the next generation.”
He also highlighted the church’s commitment to education and serving those in need.
“The first reason we are doing this is so that you know God. Another reason is that anyone who helps the poor is lending to God. It is a powerful way to serve humanity and to please God,” he said.
