Zita, the BBNaija season 10 housemate, has won the head of house title for week eight after defeating interim HoH Koyin in the defence challenge.

Koyin had initially won the title during a three-peat game on Sunday’s live eviction show.

However, due to a new season twist, his reign as interim HoH was contingent on defending the title the following day.

The reality star went head-to-head with five other housemates of his choice, which included Bright Morgan, Kola, Faith, Zita and Thelma Lawson.

After an intense first round, the competition narrowed to a final showdown between Koyin, Faith, and Zita.

Ultimately, Zita emerged victorious, securing her second HoH win of the season. In week four, she also dethroned interim HoH Doris to win the title.

The HoH title automatically grants her immunity from eviction for the week. It also gives her the power to influence nominations.

The BBNaija season 10 edition kicked off with a two-day opening ceremony. The female housemates were unveiled first on July 26.

The male contestants were ushered into the show on July 27, making it a total of 29 housemates.

This year’s winner will take home a staggering N150 million — the highest grand prize in the show’s history since its debut in 2006.
