Bolanle Ninalowo, the Nollywood actor, has responded to a disturbing fraud case involving a impersonator.
The film star posted on his Instagram page a petition filed with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) by a woman named Victoria Ayano.
In the document, she alleged that in July 2024, a man named Bolanle Azeez contacted her on TikTok pretending to be the famous actor and fraudulently obtained N33 million from her.
Reacting with a mix of shock and humour, Ninalowo questioned the staggering amount, stating, “Even Nollywood wey blow me never pay me N33 million per film”.
He also noted that despite the situation, lawyers would still find a way to collect their fees.
“This one loud ooo. N33,000,000 for wetin? Which kine juju be this naa? Haa. Even Nollywood wey blow me never pay me N33 million per film,” he wrote.

The incident is not isolated for Ninalowo, who has repeatedly battled impersonation.
In March, he expressed frustration over being impersonated by several accounts on TikTok.
A Delta man was also imprisoned in 2023 for posing as the actor on social media.
In 2022, he also raised alarm over fake social media accounts created in his name to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
