Doris Okorie, the former BBNaija season 10 housemate, has shut down suggestions that her romantic relationship with fellow contestant Denari was a strategic mistake that led to her eviction.

The media personality was evicted from the reality show last Sunday alongside Ivatar and Big Soso.

Doris was asked in a post-eviction interview if the relationship had ultimately cost her a spot in the competition.

She firmly dismissed the notion, instead praising Denari as an “amazing person” and stating she has no regrets about her journey.

The 33-year-old media personality explained that her goal was never to win through game-playing strategies but to authentically enjoy the experience and leverage the platform afterward.

“I went into the house with no strategies, I went into the house to have fun and I was prepared to come out of the house and use the platform that I have been given. I went to into the house, I met an amazing person and I took the opportunity to experience that amazing person,” she said.

“Like I said earlier, I do not regret anything that had happened in the house. I embraced everything, so I do not think anything spoilt anything for me.”

The BBNaija season 10 edition kicked off with a two-day opening ceremony.

This year’s winner will take home a staggering N150 million — the highest grand prize in the show’s history since its debut in 2006.
