Juma Jux, the Tanzanian singer and songwriter, has come through with the release of ‘A Day To Remember’, his extended play (EP).

The seven-track body of work was released across all streaming platforms on Friday.

Songs on the EP include ‘God Design’, ‘Si Mimi’, ‘Celebration’, ‘My Shayla’, ‘Ololo’, ‘You’, and ‘Ex Wa Nani’.

The singer features Nigerian music heavyweight Phyno and Tanzanian singer D Voice on the project.

Jux, born Juma Mussa Mkambala, began his music career at 16 and signed with A.M Records in 2008.

His music is a blend of R&B, Bongo Flava, and Afrobeats. His hit songs include ‘Enjoy’, ‘NitasubirI’, ‘Fashion Killer’, ‘Sugua’, ‘Juu’, and ‘Nidhibiti’.

He has also earned several awards for his craft and is considered one of the biggest artistes in Tanzania and East Africa.

Jux recently tied the knot with Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo.

The couple’s love story unfolded in July 2024, when they publicly announced their relationship on social media.

Their traditional and white weddings were held in Lagos in April, following their Islamic traditional wedding in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in February.

Jux also announced that the final wedding celebration would take place in Tanzania on May 28.
