The collaborative track, released in the early hours of Friday, sees the Mavin Records artiste adding introspective verses to the chorus, creating a fresh yet familiar rendition.

Spanning three minutes, the refix opens with Ladipoe’s smooth rap flow, where he pledges unwavering devotion to his lover, weaving clever wordplay with heartfelt emotion.

His bars strike a balance between romance and wit, vowing “never to love another woman” while playfully teasing his lyrical craft.

“At least I follow your dress and your sizes/ That’s why I never wanna love another woman/ That’s why I know I’ll never love another woman/ That’s why I can never love another woman/ That’s why I think that’s cut cause I told my ex to/ If I love another woman I make it a verse too/ Then if we break up I’ll make that verse too/ I’m just playing with words baby don’t take it so personal,” he raps.

Originally released by Styl-Plus in 2006, Olufunmi’ remains one of Nigeria’s most enduring love anthems.

The track resurfaced in pop culture last year when producer ID Cabasa sampled it for a remake featuring BOJ, Odumodublvck, Fireboy DML, and Joeboy.
