Nengi Hampson, the former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, has welcomed her first child.
The entrepreneur announced the birth of her child via an Instagram post on Sunday. She hinted that the child was born on February 21, 2025.
Sharing videos of herself and her newborn in the delivery room, the reality star described the baby as her “most precious gift” and “greatest blessing”.
“The purest form of love. I received the most precious gift on 21-02. My greatest blessing, my heart in human form, my purpose. God knew I needed you my baby. I love you more than words could ever explain. It’s us forever,” she wrote.

Fans and colleagues have taken to the comment section to congratulate the reality star.
Nengi, however, did not disclose the gender or name of the baby or the identity of the child’s father.
In February, rumours circulated online that the 27-year-old was pregnant with a child fathered by a Nigerian governor.
She denied the claims, adding that she would not allow the rumour to tarnish her personal life or the lives of those close to her.
Nengi rose to fame after she featured on BBNaija season 5, which Laycon won.
In 2020, she was appointed as the senior special assistant on girl child development to Duoye Diri, the governor of Bayelsa state.
