Wande Coal, BNXN, Teni and Adekunle Gold are set to perform at the maiden edition of Lagos Shopping Festival.

The festival is a 72-hour nonstop shopping experience that will run from December 23 to 25 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

Other artistes expected to perform include Ayo Maff, Young Jonn, DJ Neptune, and DJ Six Seven.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos state governor, who flagged off the festival on Monday, described it as “more than just an event”.

The governor disclosed that the festival “represents a fusion of commerce and entertainment”.

He also promised that the event would “support small businesses, create better opportunities” and showcase Lagos’ “vibrant spirit”.

“The Lagos Shopping Festival is more than just an event; it represents a fusion of commerce and entertainment. It will not only support local businesses and create opportunities, but also showcase the vibrant spirit of Lagos, positioning our state as a hub for tourism, commerce and entertainment in Africa,” he said.

On his part, Gbenga Omotoso, Lagos commissioner for information and strategy, said the festival is to further reinforce the state’s position as “Africa’s leading hub for commerce, creativity and entertainment”.

“Get ready for three thrilling days filled with incredible deals, exclusive discounts, and world-class shopping experience,” he said.

“The Lagos Shopping Festival will feature carefully selected vendors offering a wide array of products, including fashion, electronics, beauty items, home decor, gourmet food, and more. Whether you’re looking for the perfect holiday gifts, the latest gadgets or unique fashion items, you’ll discover something special at every turn.”

Entrance is free for all attendees, however interested guests who would like to gain access to the entertainment space are to register here.
