Timaya, the Nigerian singer, has put out the visuals for his recently released track ‘Mase’.
The music video comes a few weeks after the Bayelsa-born singer delivered the audio on streaming platforms in November.
‘Mase’ is a groovy body-soothing dance track taking on Timaya’s signature style.
In the track, the 44-year-old sings about rising above external criticisms and staying focused on his path.
“E no dey bother, e no dey bother me, e no fit bother me, say your talk no dey bother me too much cho cho cho, e no fit bother me. Anything I wan do mase, mase, mase, Olorun mase o,” the lyrics read.

The music event will be held on January 1, 2025, at the Samson Siasia Stadium.
“The annual event has become one of Nigeria’s biggest New Year celebrations, drawing thousands of fans eager to experience electrifying live performances,” a statement from the singer’s management reads in part.
“Now in its third year, the Timaya Day Concert is more than just a musical event—it’s a homecoming celebration that honours Timaya’s journey from Bayelsa to international stardom.
“With ‘Mase’ already creating a buzz, anticipation for the Timaya Day Concert is at an all-time high.
“Fans can expect an unforgettable experience filled with powerful performances, energetic vibes, and a celebration of Afro-dancehall excellence.”
