Davido, the Afrobeats star, has announced that he will release his fifth album next year.

In an interview on The Baller Alert Show, the ‘Feel’ hitmaker said the album will be released “early 2025”.

Davido, however, did not provide other details about the project, including the release date, featured artistes, and album title.

The 32-year-old music star also disclosed that he will deliver a collaborative project with Chike and Odumodublvck in a few days.

While announcing the project, he described Odumodublvck as the “biggest Nigerian rapper” and likened Chike to the American singer Bryson Tiller.

“My album will be coming out early next year. It will be a real African records,” he said.

“We have another coming in couple of days, it is called ‘Funds’. I featured the current biggest Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck, and the Nigerian Bryson Tiller, girls love him is name is Chike.”

He further expressed his willingness to remain in Nigeria rather than relocate.

“I have to stay tapped in because why run away from home when others are running there now,” he added.

Born David Adeleke, Davido rose to fame in 2012 after releasing ‘Dami Duro’, the second single from his debut album ‘Omo Baba Olowo’.

Since his debut album, he has delivered three other projects including ‘A Good Time’ (2019), ‘A Better Time‘ (2020), and ‘Timeless’ (2023).

Davido is also the founder of DMW, a record label established in April 2016. The music label has served as home to a plethora of music talents.

With several awards to his name, Davido has solidified himself as one of the leading artistes in Africa.
