The album also features Nigerian singers like Tim Lyre, Sanaa, Obongjayar, Moelogo and Ruti, a British singer.

“I think collaboration is very important for the Afrobeats scene; finding people who you align with musically, or even those that you don’t align with, can move your music into a different space,” said Tec from Show Dem Camp.

“I think for all types of Afrobeats artists it’s very interesting to see what collaboration looks like.”

The Cavemen, the highlife duo, are brothers who started as backup singers for several artistes before carving a niche of their own. They officially began their journey in the music industry in 2018.

They released their debut single ‘Osondu’ in 2020. The brothers also came through with ‘Roots’, their first album, in August of the same year.

Show Dem Camp, on the other hand, are a musical duo whose real names are Olumide Ayeni and Wale Davies. They are known for their Afrobeats and hip-hop fusion.

In 2021, they released their debut album ‘The Dreamer Project’. Since then, they have maintained their significance in the Nigerian hip-hop scene.
