Zion Oguiefa, the BBNaija season nine housemate, has threatened to break up with Chinwe Elibe, his girlfriend, over her spat with Onyeka.

On Thursday, Chinwe was involved in a heated exchange with Onyeka over her comment during one of their tasks.

After the tension had settled, Zion advised her to apologise to Onyeka for the outburst. Chinwe however maintained that she was right and she would not apologise.

She also accused Zion of not always supporting her and trying to throw her “under the bus”. Responding, Zion threatened to break up with her to which Chinwe agreed.

Chinwe, in a chat with Michky earlier in the day, disclosed that she had already informed Biggie of her decision to exit the show.

In his reaction, Zion said she could leave if she wanted to. He, however, vowed to protest if Biggie decided to evict him from the house with her based on this edition’s rules that involve contestants competing in pairs.

“This is just the second week, I shouldn’t be quenching smoke fires, because that just means that you’ve forgotten why we are here. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t go home,” Zion told Anita.

“If she wants to go she can go, of course, we came here together, doesn’t mean we have to go together. If she goes to meet Biggie that she wants to go, let her say she wants to go, I didn’t say I want to go home.

“I can take the ZinWe badge off, and Zion go dey the house. It doesn’t make sense that she will now use her own to hurt my own. We are here as a pair, lets go as a pair, lets help each other in the long run. This whole situation should help us grow, it shouldn’t make us to be divided.”

Chinwe and Zion have been in a five-month relationship before coming on the show together.

They were both part of 28 housemates — paired up into teams of 14 — unveiled at the BBNaija season nine ‘No Loose Guard’ premiere.

The show will run for 71 days and end on October 6. The winner of the 2024 season will go home with the grand prize of N100 million
