The three-track project’s release comes a few hours after the singer returned to social media following a health scare.

The body of work includes tracks like ‘Letter From My Bro’, ‘I Don’t Wanna Die’, and ‘Way Back’.

In ‘Way Back’, Khaid enlists the musical expertise of Olamide to deliver pleasant music art.

The singer recounts his health scare in ‘I Don’t Wanna Die’ while expressing his fear of death.

“Doctor said I’ll be alright/ But I’m not sure if I go to sleep I’ll die/ This is so awkward/ All demons in the night calling my damn phone/ Even human lives in heaven/ Heaven don’t fall/ Yeah I don’t wanna die/ I don’t wanna die,” Khaid sings.

In April, Khaid was hospitalised amid reports that he was battling internal bleeding.

Adekunle Gold, the Nigerian singer, visited Khaid in hospital in May.

Khaid is signed under Neville Records, a music label owned by Sydney Talker, the skit-maker. He was unveiled in January 2022.

Since the release of his hit single ‘With You’ in 2022, the singer is fast becoming a household name in the music landscape.
